The Science of Teaching Grant has developed a series of 6 checklists for what “Good” looks like in Assessment-Informed Instruction, Structured Pedagogy, Pre-service Teacher Education, In-service Teacher Education, Materials Development, Ongoing Teacher Support, and Curriculum Scope and Sequence.
These checklists serve as companions to the How-To Guides, providing tools that implementers, government officials, and other partners can use to do a self-assessment of a program or system in these areas – which can help with the identification of gap areas and tracking progress over time.
